Experienced Myanmar international brings leadership, quality and winning pedigree to the Black & Gold.
Futera United are delighted to announce the signing of Myanmar international Zaw Min Tun, one of Southeast Asia’s most accomplished defenders, ahead of the 2026/27 Thai League 3 season.
A commanding centre-back renowned for his leadership, composure and aerial dominance, Zaw arrives in Bangkok with a wealth of experience gained across two countries and more than a decade at the highest level of the game.
Born in Mandalay, Myanmar, Zaw began his professional career with Magway FC before establishing himself as one of the country’s finest defenders with Yadanarbon FC, where he won the Myanmar National League title in 2014. Further championship success followed at Yangon United, helping the club lift league titles in 2015 and 2018 while cementing his reputation as one of Myanmar’s premier defenders.
His performances earned him a move to Thailand, where he represented Chonburi FC, Sukhothai FC, Trat FC and Nakhon Pathom United, before also gaining overseas experience with Penang FC in the Malaysian Super League. Most recently, he featured for Phrae United, adding further experience to an already distinguished career before making the move to Futera United in July 2026.
