John Owoeri Joins Futera United

We’re thrilled to welcome Nigerian international striker John Owoeri to Futera United for the 2025/26 BYD Dolphin League 3 season. A FIFA World Youth Championship finalist, John has built a career on finding the back of the net, claiming the Swedish Allsvenskan Golden Boot in 2016 and scoring goals across Europe, Africa, and Asia. His journey has taken him to top clubs in the Netherlands with Feyenoord, as well as spells in Sweden, Egypt, China, and Finland. Now, the experienced forward brings his proven finishing and winning mentality to Futera as we embark on our first season in professional football.
